3. User Showcase – Dr. Necati Ercan Ozgencil – Senior Software Engineer from Syncsort Incorporated.
Necati obtained his PhD degree from Syracuse University in Computer Science in 2007 with a thesis in Machine Learning area and joined Syncsort just after that. He took a break from Syncsort to work for Princeton University as a Professional Specialist in a two separate research projects for 18 months in 2008-2009 and he is still working for Syncsort since then. He is involved in all phases of Dynamics journey of Syncsort, from initial evaluation (Dynamics vs. Salesforce) to migration of all systems (Marketing, Sales, Support, Finance) to Dynamics step by step.
Besides Syncsort, Necati also worked as a freelancer and sub-contractor in various Dynamics CRM/365 projects. He also owns the https://www.neoxrm.com website and is the author of three Dynamics 365 solutions/products he offers for free. One of his products is MS certified and available on AppSource.

I will talk about how we customized Dynamics CRM/365 to meet our complex requirements as a software company, timelines of migrations from 100% in-house built legacy components to one all Dynamics system. I will also demonstrate our several custom-built solutions on top of Dynamics 365, like customer support portal using ADXStudio, new Knowledgebase solution which serves both internally and to our customers, and D&B integration to keep our account data clean and accurate.
4. D365 MVP Showcase – Andrew Butenko, Senior Consultant at Hitachi Solutions America, D365 MVP 2010-2018
Andrew has been active in the Microsoft CRM space since 2008 and has received the coveted Microsoft MVP award for 9 years running, since 2010. If you’ve been active on any of the D365 forums out there, or have gone to any of the yearly Dynamics related conferences or events, you might have come across him speaking at sessions.
Andrew grew up in Kiev, Ukraine and graduated from the National Technical University “KPI” with a degree in Computer Science in 2009. He spent many years working for local partners and freelancing for many user companies and Dynamics partners, primarily from the United Stated. In 2017, he accepted a position with Hitachi Consulting, moved to the United States and currently lives in Greenville, South Carolina.

Microsoft Flow is a new and amazing product that allows one to build different automations without opening Visual Studio. Components for Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement/Common Data Sservice are limited at the moment. It’s possible to start a flow either on-demand or when a record is created/updated/deleted inside the system and it allows one to create/update/delete records and retrieve sets of records and iterate through it. But Dynamics 365 for CE has more possibilities available, so in the presentation he’ll provide a step-by-step instruction how to call actions/functions from Flow.
