  • 1.  Security Permission for Revising a Closed Quote in CE

    I have a user who is trying to Revise a Closed Quote and it keeps giving him a permissions error and won't let him proceed - we can use the Revise button as System Administrator with no problem.  I have searched the security roles/permissions and cannot find a setting specific to Revise a Quote - does anyone know the correct security setting required to allow our users to revise a Closed quote?

    Hi Jeff,

    If you are unsure of which permissions to assign, try downloading the Security Debugger tool for XrmToolBox.

    You can paste the error message and it will identify which permissions are needed.

    Hi Jeff, 

    In order to "Revise" a quote the user should have the "Override Quote Pricing" permission I beleive. Did you try that?
