    My understanding of queues is that they inherit the security of it's owner. Queues themselves cannot have roles applied to them, nor do queue members inherit the privileges from a queue or queue's owner. 

    I'm also finding that if a user in a child business unit needs to add an item to another queue in the parent business unit then the security role for the user needs to include privileges on QUEUES for READ/APPEND/APPENDTO at the ORG level in order to add that item to the queue. With that being said, this does not give the user the ability to see the items in the queue, since they themselves would not be a member of that queue.

    Could someone please confirm this for me?
