That "Data Performance" feature in the article linked above was removed from online CRM a while ago. It seemed like a short-lived experiment for Microsoft. From what you're describing your best bet might be a support ticket to have Microsoft engineers review your table indexes and performance metrics that only they can see. They may tell you that there are automated processes and it will all work itself out. It's worth pushing them to look at your specific tenant and org for issues. The support techs I've worked with usually can't do anything with the tables but if you push hard enough they can talk to engineers who perform the maintenance. It may take a while but if they get the time of an engineer then you may get some positive results.

I thought the deployment user was the one that originally set up the cloud version. But I could be totally wrong and could be remembering an older version.
But I am basically out of Ideas and hopefully a Microsoft tech can resolve.

We are in the cloud. I don't see how to give myself deployments user permissions.

There are certain things that only the deployment user sees. I am also assuming that this is in the cloud and not on premise version. IF it is the on premise version then all my answers are wrong.

Have you tried this ? Managing Your Data Performance in Dynamics 365 | PowerObjects
I suspect what that does it add additional indexes in the cloud version.

We are having a growing number of users reporting this. We are unable to reproduce this on our end and have opened a ticket with microsoft that is going no where. Is or has anyone experienced this?
