    Good Afternoon Group!

This is my first time posting in the local user group, and I have a question today. We are looking for a partner that can assist us and wanted to know if any of you had any suggestions. Here is what we are looking for:
    • Knowledgeable in Manufacturing and Construction (we manufacturer a waterproofing system for roofs)
    • Chooses OOTB before going with any programmatic or plugin solutions
    • Microsoft Partner
    • Ability to host our licenses
    • Offers support
    • Has a full team of dynamics experts, Power BI experts , developers, etc that can help us out with any projects we are working on
    • A few projects we are looking at/planning on:
      • Integrate our CRM with NAV (as we are upgrading to a newer version this year and would like to pull some data into CRM)
      • Make selecting items for quotes a quicker and easier process
      • Looking into Chatbot (saw a very interesting presentation on this at Summit)
      • Start implementing Power BI

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Ian,
Sorry I missed this email when it came in. I wish I had more information as to a good choice of Partner for you but have not worked with too many. Hitachi has been pretty good but not sure if fit the industry you are looking for.

I would post this to the larger community as our Upstate chapter is pretty small.

Choosing a Dynamics Partner is a very important decision for customers and I think you are beginning with the right approach by first identifying your needs.  A great partner will know how to apply functionality, data management and workflow to help your organization meet its needs.

I would recommend when you are selecting a partner you ask them these 5 critical questions:

    1) What will be included in the Statement of Work for each project?
    2) How do your consultants stay on top of technology and software changes?
    3) What business best practices do you recommend for our industry?
    4) How will your team handle any difficulties that come up during a project?
    5) What percentage of clients continue to work with you after the first project is complete?

    I hope this helps you!
