  • 1.  Email: Your mailbox is now connected to Dynamics 365

    I had a handful of non-licensed CRM users receive an automated email today after we went live.  I have looked in the Settings>Security>Users, and I see a bunch of users that are employees of our organization, but not part of our CRM implementation.  My default view is Enabled Users.  Not sure why they are enabled either, or if they should be in my list, or if I can delete them.

    Can someone tell me why they got this?

    ​You definitely can Deactivate Users that aren't part of your implementation.
    What settings do you have on the Email Configuration: Email Configuration Settings ?

    I see that I can Deactivate them, which is good.  But I don't understand why they are there when they don't have a license.  And it is not everyone in our organization, only a handful.  I am wondering if my Global Admin is doing something in new employee setup that is causing this.

    When I go to Settings > Email Configuration, I use the All Mailboxes View.  Are you asking about the Setting when I open a users mailbox?  Here is mine:

    I was wondering about the system general Mailbox settings (i.e. Email processing for unapproved user & queues, folder-level tracking & email correlation).
    ​I think you may be right: that these users were added via Global Admin.

    Check with your O365 admin. Users that are assigned the global admin role in O365 will show up in Dynamics as unlicensed users. So will users that have been assigned a Flow license.
