    Hi Folks,

We've hit the limit I think of what we can do with the OOTB email templates. My sales team is looking send HTML email templates with images, etc and at times include attachments to email to their contacts.

From best I can tell in using the OOTB email templates or Quick campaign to Email, it does appear to be possible.

so hoping folks can point me in the right direction

    1. either there is a way to do it leveraging OOTB tools (i.e. With in D365 Customer Engagement)
    2. Is there another tool that can do the job easily and allow the easy management of the various templates in use.
      1. HTML driven templates, allowing the users to add attachments, and ideally have the email record sent, reside in D365 regarding the contact.

    Thanks for your input!

    Todd-
I would recommend Power Mail Chimp (Power Objects) - the html template works really well (for entry level too)
You will need a Mail chimp account but PMC handles the integration for you.

I use Click Dimensions, but I would not recommend it.

Also, if using attachments, I recommend storing each attachment in Sharepoint and linking to them within the email templates vs. actual attached files (space saver)

Afaik there is a new email editor in UI, however I'm not sure if that editor is used for templates as well or just for sending emails directly.

As you are using Customer Engagement, you are probably entitled to a free instance of Dynamics Marketing with a minimum of 2k contacts.
We've just installed in on our sandbox and will slowly be rolling it out and replace native email templates and our use of Constant Contact.
Interestingly, when we installed it, we discovered we were entitled to 18k contacts. I queried this with support and was told the following:

"Since your quota is tenant based and is multi Geo, It has license in each region, that is why you can see 2000 * 9 Geos contacts = 18000 contacts."

BTW, in the interim, you can use the email client in the UCI and copy and paste the results into the email template window.
