Calendar Control - can this be set as default?

The calendar control for views in the Unified Interface is great. I love that I can customize the icon color based on an option set. There are a few things that don't work as expected. Has anyone had any luck working with these?

The "Show As Calendar Control" does not seem to stick all the time. Yesterday, I had to manually select "Show As>Calendar Control" every time I wanted to access it. Today it is defaulting there - that's good! How do I guarantee it defaults to the calendar control view?

The "Show As" is sometimes showing "Editable Grid" sometimes "CC_Grid_Name". The Calendar Control always displays as "CC_Calendar_Name". Any ideas on why that is?

The calendar defaults to the Week view. How do I set this to the month view?

    Thanks for your expertise, community!

@Adam Posegate - I have noticed the "CC" prefix before. However, I have noticed that it tends to go away after I have cleared my cache in the browser.

As for setting the Calendar view as the default: Go to the Controls area where you added the control and there should be 3 columns to set for Web, Phone, and Tablet. You have to set all 3 next to the calendar control you added.

Keep in mind that this if the control is set at the Entity Level, then all views under the entity will default to the calendar view. Unless you added the control at the View level
