Hi
@Mary Cunningham,
I don't know of any plans yet to actually remove the legacy app. However, once you have flipped the switch to yes for "U
se Unified Interface only" (found in the Settings under Product > Behavior), then there's another option that will help you. By flipping to yes the option, "Show legacy app to everyone, not just admin", you will prevent any users from seeing the legacy app in the future. Now, when they navigate to the old link, it will redirect them to their default app in the Unified Interface. This is what we've done in our tenant; now our users will only ever have access to the single UCI app which we want them to use.
Here's a MS Docs link with these settings, as well.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/settings-behaviorThere's a lot of confusion with this whole Unified transition, but I hope this helps!

Subject: Web Client after the UI Change
Hi,
After the change to the UI, what happens to the Web client tile that the users always access previously? When starting Dynamics 365 with this tile now, it gives the warning: This is a legacy app and might have features or customizations that aren't supported in Unified Interface. For best results, create a model-driven app for Unified Interface. We've made a new app and have given the users access to it. But just want sure if MS eventually removes the old web client, or we just hide in with a security group forever.
