  • 1.  Unified Interface Issue

    Even after changing the setting on the sandbox Admin center I only get Unified Interface initially but as soon as I select solution everything turns back to classic view.

    So there must be some additional steps which we have to do at our end to make everything Unified Interface view. I Followed below

    Anybody know if I missed anything here?

    Hi @Jeebo Mathews,

    I am not sure that I understand well the issue you have. Yet, here is a few hints :

    ​​- When unified Interface is activated, Advanced settings (such as solutions, administration, Security, ...) stay on the classic interface (this will progressively be migrated to powrapps admin portal i guess). So this may explain why you go back to classic UI when clicking on solutions
    - For your users to use the Unified Interface, you need to provide them a Model driven app made for unified interface. Should be ok if you use the last version of sales app for exemple. But if you use "Dynamics 365 - custom", there will be issues.

    HI Laurent,

    I am trying to show our solution with all the list of processes including the workflows, business process flow, actions in Unified Interface to someone now it seems every time I open the solution it by default opens in the legacy Web ​interface rather than the Unified Interface.

    Hi Jeebo,

    When I open the solution, it appears by default on the Unified interface. But this is rather new... I have this behaviour since begining of october, before it was opening the old interface even if Unified Interface was activated. Moreover, I think that the new UI is not perfect for managing solutions... so I think that this is still in development from Microsoft and I am not surprise that you are still on the old interface for solutions. The important is that unified interface is activated for users when going to leads, opportunities, accounts, ...

    @Jeebo Mathews - There is a setting under the Settings/Administration/System Settings. This will force the new Unified Interface as the default. Also, you can "turn off" the access to the classic by setting the option to "No". (see below)
