    Hi All,

I am trying to run a query on my local inside of visual studio from a dynamics entity. Each time I try to preview inside of VS it is giving me this error.

"Am error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during report processing. Query execution failed for dataset 'dataset name' The entity with a name = 'entity name' with namemapping = 'Logical' was not found in the MetadataCache. MetadataCacheDetails: ProviderType=Dynamic, StandardCache=True, IsLoadedInStagedContext = False, Timestamp=53523682, MinActiveRowVersion=53523682"

Could someone please help with this error?

    Thanks,
    Sam

    Hi Samuel,

Please make sure that in the query the names of entities and attributes used are logical names (all lower case), not schema names.

    Thanks,

That issue happens when you are trying to retrieve a field(column) that don't exist, make sure that you are writing right the logical field name. e.g: new_field (correct), new_fied (incorrect).
    regards.
