Calculated Field for Last Activity Date

    I am working on a field that is a calculated date. It looks at a custom activity (Customer Visit Report) for an account and marks the most recent one as this calculated field on an account form. Currently it is working perfect for all CVR when they are regarding an account, however if a user enters in a CVR for an opportunity that is already regarding an account it does not update the field field on the account. Any thoughts?

    @Jonathan O'Brien - For clarity, are you using a Rollup Field or a Calculated Field? Have you tried using the "hierarchy" option when you edit the Rollup field?

    I apologize it is a roll up field. and yes hierarchy is enable.
