Is there a way to export audit data in the form of a report?

We have a client who is running Dynamics CRM 8.2 On-Prem version. We recently have been facing SQL timeout errors frequently and upon discovery we found that it is because of the audit table. Naturally, the easiest solution would be to clean up the audit table. However, the client wants to store legacy audit history. Is there a way we can archive legacy audit data in a SSRS report and remove it from CRM?

Hi, I had a similar issue a while ago and I came across this article, but unfortunately it doesn't give out the secret sauce to writing the correct SQL script and rely on consulting. It might give you an idea what you have to do.
In XRM Toolbox tool I installed Audit Center which gave me very good idea on what is being audited, so I will meet with the business and remove the redundant ones.

Here are some articles will help you to write SSRS report on audit history

Also you can consider taking backup of CRM database and using Audit history Partition to remove old audit history

There is also an XRM Toolbox plugin called Attribute Audit Explorer that will let you specify which entities you want to see and export them to Excel.  You could do whatever you want with the data from there to archive it.

    Hi Kyle,

Will this XRM Toolbox tool allow for a query logic?  For example, I want to see the last login date of all active Dynamics users.
