    Hi all,
We have recently moved to UI.  In the past, our users have had access to run on demand workflows and in UI they do not.  I believe that I need to update their role to include "Run flows".  Can you confirm that this is the access that needs to be grated?  As well, if that role is granted is there any other access that would be granted in terms of flows (for example, we want hem to be able to run previously created on demand workflows, but do not want them to have access to create or edit existing flows).
    Thanks!

    Hi @Diane Taylor,

I actually don't know if the "Run Flows" privilege is needed or not. I can, however, show you what the on-demand flows and workflows look like in the Unified Interface. They are combined beneath the "Flow" button in the command bar, Power Automate flows beneath the heading "Run" and classic workflows beneath the heading "Run Workflow". All previously created on-demand workflows for that entity should be accessible from this menu as well as any Power Automate flows created with the Common Data Service trigger of "When a record is selected".

Granting the security privilege of "Run Flows" should not grant any additional edit access of the Power Automate flows but simply access to execute them. I don't think this privilege is needed to run the on-demand workflows, but perhaps that privilege validation is done to display the "Flow" button in the command bar.

I know I'm not able to fully answer your question, but I hope this helps!

@Chad Althaus - Thanks for this!  It seems that the "Run flow" is required to have access to the Flow button.  I am happy to hear that granting that will not provide access to other areas of Power Automate.
Thanks again - have a great day!
