Unable to add personal views to a personal dashbaord

When trying to create a personal dashboard today, I was unable to see (or add) a personal view for the opportunity entity. When I look at the views i have created for this entity in advanced find or in the left navigation, i see them as expected.  When I go create the personal dashboard, the views are not visible.  This is happening for opportunity as well as two other custom entities but works for all other entities.  We have searched but not found anything else quite like this.  This is impacting all of our users.

One recent change is that we implemented the AAD Security Group. We have run into a few small bugs wtih this, but we cant figure out why this would be so randomly impacting entities.

    Any ideas?

Are you seeing this in the classic or unified interface?  and are you online?  I was going to test to see if I encounter the same behavior.  There have been a couple times when I've been working in the UI and thought I was missing a view because the personal views were always at the bottom in the classic interface but are at the top in the UI....it's hard for this old dog to learn new tricks LOL

    Hi @Jill Vazquez,
Thanks so much for your reply!  We are in the new UI and CRM Online.  Yeah, I did scroll all the way to the top and the bottom. What is odd is that this is only the case for some entities, not all of them. It is certainly a mystery!  We have opened a ticket with Microsoft on this but have not heard anything yet. thank you! Laura

are you able to see other personal views in opportunities or are all of the personal opportunity views missing?  I feel like I might have seen this happen once before.  Did you just create the person view before you tried to add it to the dashboard?  Does the view use criteria or columns from an entity that is not available in  your app?

Maybe try recreating the view from scratch.  I had a case where a view was pulling in duplicated records and I opened a ticket with Microsoft - they determined that the view had gotten corrupted and it worked as expected when I recreated it from scratch.

All existing personal views (30-40) are missing for me and a brand new one i created does not show up.  They do show up in the left navigation and in advanced find - and they all work correctly.  They just don't show up in the Dashboards.  This is the case for everyone in the company.

What is odd is that if we have existing dashboards that use personal views, they work as expected as long as you dont need to edit the dashboard.  In that case, the views are not available.  And to be clear, they are not available when creating a new dashboard or editing an existing dashboard.

This is the case for at least two custom entities and opportunities.  Cant find any similarities as to why we are seeing it on these three entities (and they are our three main entities other than activities).

    So strange!!

I found the following post that mentions default views....people saw the same behavior when there was no default system view or the default system view is inactive so maybe check that?

Yep, we found something that said to deactivate and then reactivate the default public view.  We tried that too. :(

Thank you for all your suggestions, I really appreciate it!
