Hi Lori
Normally when You export a file, it contains 3 hidden files (Columns A, B and C) that are the values used by CRM to identify that this file is used for reimporting data. In old versions of CRM, You had to check the checkmark to get these columns in the exported excel sheet, but now it is included in all exports.
So if You export data just for the purpose of creating a template that should be used for importing new records, You have to delete all the existing rows in that excel file before filling in new information for import. Otherwise You may risk to overwrite existing data when importing.

Anyone have this issue? I am unclear how to export the data any other way to manipulate then re-import.
