  • 1.  vendors comparible to InsideView??

    Posted Aug 27, 2019 04:12 PM
I've had a bumpy start, but more importantly, I've realized Insights does not have the capabilities to help me clean and organize my data on the level we need (for accounts not Fortune 1000 companies), so I am looking for other options, that will better fit our needs. I'm bummed because the services they offered would have worked out great for us otherwise.Does anyone have anyone they recommend? So far I've looked into ZoomInfo (very pricey!) and D&B (right up our alley of what we need, but again pricey). I don't know where else to look because we were originally going to move forward with Insights.
Any help on leads is appreciated!

@Geoff Ables did a session at Focus this last spring which analyzed a number of different AI Solutions. In addition to InsideView, he also talked about "Sales AI", "Versium Predict" and the "LinkedIn Sales Navigator". From his description, I'm guessing Sales AI isn't what you're looking for, but the other 2 might be worth checking out. Best of luck!

Hi @Heather Laughlin (and thanks for the shout-out @Greg Enns)

It sounds like you're more interested in the data quality features of something like InsideView - not necessarily the artificial intelligence capabilities?

If that's the case, I'm not sure you're going to do a lot better than InsideView. As you noted, they are stronger on the larger-business side than on smaller businesses. But they are one of the better offerings out there in terms of the coverage offered across a lot of businesses. Plus, they probably have the best integration to Dynamics 365 of any of the providers.

Next, I'd look at Versium. They are very similar to InsideView for the features you're evaluating, and have pretty good integration. My sense is that they do not have the same quality of B2B data as InsideView, but that's only a gut-level reaction. D&B and ZoomInfo both have good data but, again, it is much stronger on the large business side than on the small business side. You will also find that virtually all of these providers have mostly executive contacts (if you need other non-executive decision-makers, LinkedIn is probably the best option).

Happy to jump on a call to better understand your needs and offer more suggestions if you'd like.
