I've been trying to get to grips with the exciting new world of Dynamics Apps, and am having a little difficulty getting a consistent experience. I've set up an App called Insights, with a description, custom icon, and all the associated resources. This is also in a solution, so exists within my Sandbox and Production environments. When I view at home.dynamics.com, I see the App in each environment, but I don't see the custom icons:
Using the side bar, I see one instance of the App with the custom icon but without the environment, and then two more with a generic icon, each specifying the environment they belong to:
If I go to the home page of one of the organisations (myorg.crm11.dynamics.com), I see one instance of the App, with the custom icon:
Out of the three places to view these, the last is the only one that shows as I would expect (one instance of the App, with the correct icon). Does anyone have any experience of setting these up, and how to get them showing more consistently? Is this just "how they are" right now? It seems confusing, especially as you're already asking users to go to the Dynamics "App", and then select their "Dynamics App". Let's not even mention the mobile App Apps.
I'm Apped out...

- Are you using .SVG (Vector) files for the icons when you set up the Web Resource? I just tested this and it works within the App Menu (drop-down next to the logo in the top-left corner), but does not display on the home.dynamics.com page.

Hi Aaron, thanks for the response. Yes, using an SVG image, but found the same issue when I tried a PNG. From the sounds of it your experience is similar.
