    We are V9, online, and ready to move over to the Outlook App.  I have just learned that mail merge is no longer an option and some of my sales users access this regularly. Does anyone have suggestions for how your users send bulk emails to a set of their contacts or leads?  We also are about to launch Highspot, a sales enablement tool, but that is a 1:1 connection.  Need a solution quickly!  #mail merge​, #drip campaigns, #bulk emails​​

    There are a couple of options here, depending on the users capabilities and rights.  Maybe not a 100% replacement for mail merge, but close.

    1. Create an on-demand workflow that will send an email with fields from the contact/lead or related records in the email body.
    2. Use the new Word Template feature, which is the closest thing to a classic mail merge function.

    We are in the same boat, and we are looking for solutions.

    Mail Merge is still available through the web if you click on Advanced Find, unfortunately it forces the users to run Macro in order for it to function properly.When generating a Mail Merge through the web, users are required to run a Macro to initiate normal Mail Merge steps within Word.

    What macro are you referring to in this instance?  We've always found it best to use mail merge within the advanced find and have not needed to use a macro (that I'm aware of).

    When starting a Mail Merge through the Web Advanced Find (not Outlook Add-in), users are required to to run the pictured Macro for the normal step-by-steps.

    When starting a Mail Merge through the Outlook Add-in, users are not required to run a Macro.
