Has anyone been able to track multiple emails at once? Our sales users are using the Outlook app and when sending blast emails they are tracking each sent item. Which is time consuming. Is there a solution thats allows us to track once for blast emails?

    Thanks for the input

    Hi Heath,

For each users, under personal settings they have an options to automatically track emails.
These options should take care of your scenario and you would not need to track emails manually.

Note: These options are for each users as personal settings.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions/concerns.

    Thanks
    Jay

    Hi Heath
Just bear in mind the impact on your data storage (specifically files) if you are going to track everything automatically.

You could also consider folder level tracking: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/configure-outlook-exchange-folder-level-tracking

My team liked using it as an alternative to manually tracking each email. We didn't want to turn on fully automated tracking as we found it was still tracking too much unnecessary conversation.

    Hi Heath
You could also consider folder tracking. The user having to track several mails can create a folder in Outlook, set up a tracking-rule for that folder i CRM and after that you just need to move your emails to that folder in Outlook and all emails wil automatically be tracked. Though you need to track all the emails regarding the same entity. I don't think you can set up the rule "track without regarding". To se up folder tracking rules in CRM the user select settings - personalization settings - Email - Configure folder tracking rules. Be aware that it might take up to 15 min from creating a folder in Outlook until it is visible in folder tracking.
