Empty Subgrid

    Hi everyone,

    I recently (past two weeks) started noticing and getting reports that one of the subgrids on our opportunity form loads blank. Refreshing the browser or clicking the grid icon at the top right of the subgrid will show the data. Has anyone else noticed similar behavior across their forms? I'm wondering if Microsoft released an update that may have introduced this behavior. I was going to submit a support request, but I know troubleshooting will be difficult because I can't make the issue appear consistently.

    Hello Steve -

    I would start easy and clear your cache and restart your browser. Are you working in Chrome or IE?
    Are you accessing this form from different apps? Are the views configured to be available to the apps you are working in?

    Hi Steve,


    I have noticed the same behaviour recently with some PCF components. Data was not appearing in the component. Refreshing the browser or opening the record again makes the data appears. 

    Clearing the cache makes the data disapear again.

    What i found out was that for most of the fields in the form, data takes a few seconds to appears the first time we open the form. Before the data is correctly retrieved from CRM. When the data is finally retrieved, fields are correctly filled, except for the PCF component, where the data stays blanks, this is due cause the updateView() method is not correctly implemented in the PCF component.

    If you use a builtin subgrid, and you are experiencing the same behaviour, I think you should open a support ticket to report a bug.
    Just try to refresh the cache to see if the error appears consistently just after.
