BPF Directions

    Hello,

I created a BPF in my Dynamics 365 on premise solution. In one stage, I added a workflow with trigger "Stage Exit" (as shown below). However the problem is that the workflow is triggered when clicking both "Next" and "Previous", while I was expecting only when "Next" button clicked. How do I limit this? One option is call the workflow in OnStageChange event, but it would create a lot extra work. I wonder if there is a more direct way to determine the move direction?

    Thank you very much,
    Junbin Duan

On the Claim entity, create a "Current Stage" field that holds the name of the BPF stage. Then when your workflow runs, you can compare the new BPF stage and prior value to tell which direction the user is navigating, and finish the workflow by updating the Current Stage field.
