HI, we need some adviseBackground: we are current on CRM2011 Role up version 17 running on Sequel 2012 and windows 2008 R2. We use Scribe for two way communication with Dynamics GP and all document are stored on SharePoint. The servers are hosted off site by others. We need to make our CRM last another 12 to 18 months before upgrading to 365.The Problem: The end of life of the current servers is Jan 2020 and the Hosting location wants to upgrade the servers to Sequel 2014 and Windows 2016. There are two reason for this upgrade 1) to support us with better back up and security assurance 2) upcoming end of life.No one can tell us if CRM 2011 will operate in this environment. If we don't upgrade then we lose security patch updates and our back up remain in Flat files. Is anyone still running 2011?Have you encountered this issue?Any recommendations?Thank you for anything that is shared
CRM 2011 is not compatible with SQL Server 2014 to start with.https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/3005163/compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011
Your best options is getting upgraded to 365 on premise or migrate it to online.
