Is there a way to use Quotes to set up itemized options? Right now I just used a text box to have the call center enter by line item and add a price to it.   ex: ground transportation $200
I would rather a way where I can have a drop down option and then a text box for the price for each item. But I can't figure out how to do that.
I really want the total prices added up via system and not manually by a user. Is this at all possible?!

@Heather Laughlin - It sounds like the default Quote setup has been modified. Do you have the Product Catalog configured with Price Lists, Products, etc.? Quotes, Orders, Invoices, and Opportunities leverage the Product Catalog unless you are using the "Write In Products" function.

If you have a Product Catalog setup, then the Quote lines will have a lookup field to choose Existing Products from the Product Catalog based on the Price List on the Quote. The cost of the Product will populate and the only thing to enter is the Quantity. The bottom of the Quote will auto-total the Quote lines.

if you have the "Override Pricing" turned on for the Security Roles, then the users can change the price on the Quote as needed. There may be a need for special exceptions for the products for a particular quote or customer.
