A "hack" would be is to have a js function that would turn all fields invisible and reject the save event when an unauthorized user is using the quick form.
I don't think you can make the plus sign invisible, which is the proper solution.
Cheers!

Subject: Quick Create Functionality
All,
I am currently building a custom solution for our IT department to track some functions we do inside the organization. The internal employee I am working with to develop this solution has expressed interest in using/having the quick create functionality for the entities that I am using. However, these entities I am leveraging are used in other areas of the company and they do not need or do I want them to have the quick create ability.
Is there a way to limit the quick create option to only certain users? I tried to add the Quick Create form to only 1 of the Model Driven Apps but in the other you were still able to select the "+" and choose the form even though i didn't have it on the app. I also tried looking into security roles on the form, but the system threw an error saying i couldn't enable specific security roles on Quick Create forms.
Any feedback would be great!
Thanks!
