Email body text intermittently not displaying in Chrome

  • 1.  Email body text intermittently not displaying in Chrome

    We are using CRM Online version 9x customer engagement.

    Is anyone having an issue with email body text not displaying in Chrome? The version of Chrome we are using 75.0.3770.80 (Official Build) (32-bit). It works okay in other browsers.

    Reloading the page solves the issue but is rather inconvenient for our users.

    It doesn't affect all emails and occasionally works fine. I can't determine any common characteristics apart from having attachments.

    Martin,

    Some of our Users are having the same issue.  When it happens we tell them to hit crtl+f5.  That seems to get them through the day.  I have a ticket open with MS and should be having a call with the support tech today/tomorrow.  If i get any answers i'll post back...

    Here is what we did and it seemed to work, get the latest version of chrome, mine is Version 75.0.3770.90, then hit the windows key+r, type in %temp%, click OK, delete all files and folders that appear.  Some may not delete if you have apps/browser sessions running, just skip those.  Then windows key+r again, enter prefetch and hit OK.  Delete all files and folders that appear, skip any that won't delete.  Then went into Chrome's site settings and added my crm url to 'allow' popups.

    That was it, after doing this all of the emails i opened showed the message body.

    Hi Jim. That fix didn't work for me but upgrading Chrome to Version 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (32-bit) did the trick for myself and our users.

    We've been experiencing this issue and several others that appear to be related in the sense pages stop loading or opening a Contact record produces an error like this (no log to download).  Clicking repeatedly on the OK button eventually pulls up the record.


    This brings me to the Diagnostics Tool results.  I'm trying to make sense of the differences in the Bandwidth Test specifically.  Can anyone tell me if this is relevant?  The results are pretty consistent across different computers, different browsers and different users.

    The CRM instance experiencing issues shows (100-200 KB/sec):



    While another production instance shows (10-30 MB/sec):
