    Hello everyone,

    I've been having a continuous issue with the appointment entity auto-converting times to the user's time zones.

    What we have is an outside vendor setting appointments on our contacts and then reassigning to the location to be worked. When this location is outside of the vendor's time zone, when the salesperson accesses the appointment, the start time automatically adjusts to the user. So, if the vendor on the West Coast sets an appointment for an East Coast location for 10:00 AM and reassigns it, the appointment looks like 1:00 PM when the East Coast sales person opens the appointment.

    Is there a way to turn off the time zone adjustment? We've even had a third-party vendor build us a customized solution and even that never worked correctly most of the time.

    @Michael Rushton - You may want to look at the Date field settings for the appointments. Here is more information: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/behavior-format-date-time-field

    Also, double-check the users have their Personal Options set with the appropriate time zone.​

    Thank you @Aaron Back, MCSE.

    I'm fairly new to dynamics, so I was unaware you could set the date/time fields to time zone independent.

    Looks like I'm going to have to create two new date/time fields (Start Time and Due Time), make them time zone independent and then remap all the workflows to those time fields instead since the current ones can't be changed.

    Then I'll migrate all the data from the original fields into the new ones.

    Make sense?​
