Duplicate activities triggering

    Is anyone else having this issue lately? I checked the workflow set up to create a follow up activity based on when record is created. Users know they have to hit save first before selecting Yes for follow up call and date. But when I go in and test myself, it is creating a duplicate phone call based on record creation not field change.


    It seems to be a bug. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? It was working correctly before.

    Hi Heather, I think I am confused with this a little. I don't think you need to trigger the workflow on create of the phone call at all. In that case you should uncheck that option. Then it will only create follow up activity when the field is updated.

    How funny- I just unchecked that box right before your response came over! The workflow was set up prior to my role but I assumed it was one of those to uncheck. It was insane because sometimes it would create a duplicate and other times it wouldn't, even testing the same stuff. I was going crazy! I believe this should fix the issue now.
