I am looking for some inspiration on how you work with tasks across Dynamics 365/Power Apps, Outlook, To Do and Teams.

When we implemented Dynamics 365, we decided that tasks was not part of the initial scope due to the integration with the above-mentioned applications. However, we have now reached a stage, where it makes sense for us to start investigating, how we can gain the most value from using tasks.

I really like the idea of the integration with exchange, and that you can see tasks across the various Microsoft applications. However, I definitely also believe that it adds a layer or complexity, and that we need to tread warily to ensure that it is set up correct from the start.

Do you have any best practices? What to do and what not to do? Things to keep in mind?

E.g. is there any easy way to show tasks from Dynamics 365 across the apps? Can you easilty see what the task is regarding in Dynamics 365 or will it just blend in along with all your personal tasks and mentions? Anything particular with the synchronization that we need to keep in mind?

I look forward to hearing how you are using tasks in your organization.
