    Hello,

We are running CRM 2016 on-premise and have been kicking around a question about licensing. We have two separate production organizations (A and B) running for CRM and are wondering if we need to have the IT/admin users licensed separately for each organization. We have two users that are the interface and admin user that exist in both organization and we have licenses to cover them now, but are trying to determine if we need to consume two licenses for A and two licenses for B OR only two licenses for both organization A and B

    Brandon,

It is my understanding as follows:

    1. If A & B are installed via multi-tenancy then users only need one license.
    2. If A & B are installed via separate CRM org server installations then they need licenses for the each org (ie 2 licenses).
