    ​Is it just me?....

    I added data to them a while ago in the old style interface, but now the Add New disappeared... I am not sure if it has to do with the new interface but that is the only change I can think of.

    Did your autosave get enabled with an upgrade by any chance? Usually that is what causes the NEW button to disappear. If so, go to the Administration -> System settings and then change that NOT to AutoSave.

    ​I just tried it. Thank you. Unfortunately it did not fix it...My lookup field still wont allow me to enter a new value if it doesn't already exist. I only see the option to change the view. This is very weird, considering I did enter new values before.
    I tried to create a ticket with the power platform admin yesterday and I was not able to access it, kept loading with no results.

    I am creating a ticket now as I ran into a blog that recommended to contact Microsoft to take care of it. I will be back with updates, but if anyone ran into the same issue please share.

    I think i understood the issue wrong. I thought it was the main form where the New button does not show up. Now i understand you are talking about the lookups. Please check your security role or permissions to make sure you have the create privilege on that entity which you are trying to Add New. Are you the admin?

    Yes, I am the admin. I checked just to make sure 😊.

    The issue is with the lookups but also with the list views (if I choose to add new records by accessing the list itself) – Create New disappeared there also.

    That is very strange. If all the permissions are intact, I would assume that this could be a Microsoft bug then.

    I opened a support ticket with Microsoft. They will troubleshoot it.
    What I just noticed is it is not only for custom entities. I just tried to add a Customer Contact for a case and I am missing the Add New button.

    I am back with updates! I ended up finding the reason: it is because I had checked the box that would make the information Read- Only for Mobile. Once I communicated that to the Microsoft customer support agent, they were able to investigate the issue further.

    It is not just me :).

    Here is the resolution from Microsoft: "our product team said that this is by design, that if you enable Read-Only mode for Mobile & Outlook, this will also affect Unified Customer Interface(UCI), in future release Microsoft will update the names in title including the UCI under entity."
