    Hi,

Response from the power automate to the canvas app is always Boolean type I wanted the actual response text from the power automate.
Anybody knows what I have to do in order to get the actual response text?

    Thanks

    Regards

    Jeebo,
Can you give us more details about your scenario? Below is a link to a blog post about returning data to a canvas app from Power Automate

    Hi Edrei,

I read the same link yesterday but it does not resolve my response issue.

I am sending an attachment screenshot which defines how the flow has been created.

Not sure output variable in canvas app which call this power automate always return Boolean value.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Jeebo

Note: unable to send attachment here.

You should be able to add a screenshot of your flow here. Below is an example of a Flow that return the Account Name when I supply a GUID from a label named Label1  from Powerapps. The Flow name is GetAccountName, I have a button in my Canvas App that runs the following logic on select UpdateContext({varTextVariable:GetAccountName.Run(Label1.Text)}), this is basically setting the varTextVariable to the Output that came from my flow, which as you can see from the flow is the Account Name which is a text output. At this point you can then use the variable to set whatever field you want in your canvas app.

Thanks Edrei, I deleted the flow and recreated it then output variable was in a "Record" type inside the power apps.
I have to use variable something like "varOutput.outputresult" in power apps in order to get the text value.

I am not sure without deleting the power automate and recreating it how to set the response output variable to string in canvas apps from power automate?
