Zarko, I think you're talking about a different type of tagging than Anthony.
Anthony mentioned XRM Consultancy's Tagging solution, so I resumed he was looking for a way of adding multiple tags to a record to indicate the record's properties. For example, a contact could be tagged: customer; senior citizen; gold member; good standing; former employee. We could use many-to-many relationships to a custom entity, but tagging solutions are often more elegant, especially from a UI perspective.
I think you're talking about tagging, like when we mention other people in a social media post and you want tagged people to receive a notification they've been tagged. As far as I know, we can do that in the timeline but it's a while since I've worked with a similar requirement so I'm not sure about the current features to support this.

Hi, we use tagging for a group of users who collaborate this way. The thing with tagging is that there is no (or I am not familiar with it) way to configure some kind of notification when a user is being tagged, so we use a flow which does some processing to pull out all the users tagged end regarding object and sends an e-mail.
@Neil Benson, it would be nice to hear if you have some more elegant way for this. Do you use some kind of notification as well or something like a summary dashboard?
Kind regards

Hi Anthony, I've deployed the XRM Consultancy tagging app for a university's student system and an auto club's member engagement system. Both were good were well received, although in practice, tagging is never as popular with the users as you hope in might be in your design workshops.
I'd like to see the XRM Consultancy's Tagging solution modernised into a PCF component to take full advantage of the Unified Interface (it works fine, but looks a bit 'classic').
