We currently have our users email tracking set to "Email messages in response to Dynamics 365 email" using server-side sync. We have not experienced any issues currently, but I have not seen the information you are referring to so I cannot comment on that. Do you have a link to the post or article where you read that by chance?

I thought i read somewhere, maybe on a thread here, that with the most recent updates to D365 CE and the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook a User would be required to have their "Select the email messages to track in Microsoft Dynamics 365" set to "All Email Messages" in order to set regarding a message from a User inbox to a CRM record and have subsequent forwards/replies of that email and have Server Side Sync put that message into CRM and set regarding the same CRM record.
Does anyone know if the tracking in personal options needs to be "All Email Messages"? If not, is there any place where MS states a minimum or recommended setting?
