We are in the process of upgrading our CRM from 8.0 to 8.2.1 and in the process Microsoft decided to remove the Save and New option from Invoice Detail. This made things quite difficult for our customer service reps who used that functionality all the time. We cannot use the in-line editable grid that was implemented with 2016 because it is not editable and we require additional fields for our plugins to execute properly. With 365 the quick create option is now available and we decided to use it to correct this problem that we were running into. However, when the form is completed and the record saved an error message pops up. An error has occurred. Please return to the home page and try again.
The blurred out area is our URL to our CRM. After pressing OK, the invoice updates and everything works. The detail line is added with no issues, all plugins execute just fine and the records are all correct. This happens every time you add a new invoice detail to an Invoice. We have disabled all javascript and plugins on Invoice Detail and the error still occurs, so I do not believe that either are causing the error. Has anybody else enabled quick create for Invoice Detail and had a similar issue or no issues? We have a ticket opened with Microsoft, and it has been taking quite a bit of time trying to figure this out.
