1.  Script Error occurs for Outlook Plugin users

Hi All,

Has anyone had any reports of script errors occurring when using the Outlook plugin?  I am wondering if this issue may be related to the maintenance that occurred on Nov 4th. We are using Dynamics 365 online and are in the lasted update. The problem occurs only with the Outlook plugin when a lead or activity is selected.

There was a recent update to Office that has caused an issue with the Outlook plug-in. This may be related to your issue. It wouldn't hurt to check. Here is the link to the fix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4049314/microsoft-dynamics-365-for-outlook-is-unable-to-render-webpages-after

Hi Aaron,

We ran into the problem you mention a few weeks back and I found the fix here on CRMUG. This new issue was caused by MS Hotfix and the resolution was as follows:


This issue was resolved by Support applying the following.

Clear the cache and temp files from IE

Uninstall CRM for Outlook Plugin (2015)
Restart the PC
Install 2016 plugin using link below
