    We are currently on-prem version 8.2 and users must keep refreshing their Chrome browser in order to see the Quick Create form load.

    Does anyone know when the next Service Update will be available? Our end-users are anxiously waiting for the hotfix so that they no longer have to refresh each time. We've suggested other browsers, but unfortunately end-users prefer Chrome.

    I have not seen any updates regarding the next release for us on-premise v8.2 customers. I have this MSFT page bookmarked and check it periodically for updates. It has been 8+ months since their last release for on-premise deployments, while online customers seem to have 2 updates every month!

    Being on-prem, unfortunately I think your only options would be either to use an alternate browser for affected users, or to downgrade to a previous chrome version and prevent automatic updating.  That may ease the pain a bit until a permanent fix is released.

    We are on-line, and only received a partial fix for this about a month ago prior to our V 9.0 upgrade. The partial fix had a hard-coded height to the quick form window, so longer forms still didn't display all of the fields, and shorter forms had a lot of empty space on the bottom.

    In the on-line environment, we actually get 'micro' releases pretty much on a weekly basis, which is both a blessing and a curse.

    @Craig Heier is there a way to get notified of those updates for online, and what they contain? I know they happen too, but have never seen what's in them.​

    @Peter Gulka I don't know a way to get notified of these updates but the list of updates for Online can be found here:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2925359/microsoft-dynamics-crm-online-releases

    Within that page, if you click on the "Article Number" next to the version you are interested in, it will list all the updates, changes and fixes included in that patch. ​For example, here is the information article on what issues are resolved within Service Update 7 for D365 Online v8.2.2 which includes the following patch for the original Chrome / Quick Create Issue (last bullet point):
    • "A Quick Create form loads blank values instead of fields when you load the form a second time using the Google Chrome browser"

    We're getting a little off track of the original post, but wanted to follow up on the minor updates as I have found them to be very under-documented.

    For the most part they just happen and don't have any detrimental effects, but occasionally we do have some head scratchers trying to figure out why something has been working fine for a year and just started failing, then finally realize that it was a new version that was pushed out.

    I checked our message center in O365, and we do get a notification, but it is simply a maintenance window and tells us nothing about what is changing or what to test after the upgrade.

    I was excited to see @Craig Heier and @Peter Gulka post the link to the minor update log (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2925359/microsoft-dynamics-crm-online-releases), but after looking at it, it still has old news.  We upgraded from 8.2.2 to 9.0.2.54 on May 11, and have since updated to 9.0.2.192, and just this week to 9.0.2.197.​​​  That's three versions in a little over a month with no documentation of the changes.

    Don't get me wrong - the rapid release cycle is good, but it would be very helpful to have a little more timely information on the specific changes in each release.
