One of our teams is used to working on an Imaging System and would like to easily view note and email attachments in Dynamics.  The would like to be able to hover over the attachment and see the contents and quickly scroll through multiple attachments.  There my not be a good option in Dynamics but wanted to see if anyone is using an attachment viewer add-in or has found another solution for viewing attachments.  Thanks

I found that the free Attachment Management feature from Microsoft Labs in the appsource will make it possible to see a preview of your attachments directly in the timeline (https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365/microsoft_labs.96257e65-dbbe-43db-b775-77cf1609530c?tab=Overview) - note - the last time I set this up was before the new UI, so I cannot guarantee that it works - let us know what you find out.

If you are using Dynamics 365 online version, Microsoft is releasing 'Preview Attachment' feature for images and PDF in Wave 2 2020 (Oct). This may help quickly preview the attachments, but I do not think this includes the ability to scroll through them.

We have Wave 2 2020 installed in Sandbox and PROD, and we are limited to 2MB attachment viewing.  We have a custom Entity called Commercial Quotes, where we attach PDF of the quote from our ERP.  When we try to view it in the Entity, it will only display if under 2MB. I haven't found where to change the size setting either. In the Timeline of our entity we can't preview any attachments, regardless of size.

    Hi Tina,
You may want to try out my recommendation (above) to use the Attachment Manager because it gives users a better experience without limits.
