Hi everyone! We're curious if anyone else sells multi-year contracts and how you handle that in D365. Right now we have an option for our customers to have a two year contract and some people are in the camp that it needs to be two different opportunities while others feel it should be one. There is some ambiguity because we know their first year amount to charge on the contract right away but their second year of the contract and the amount we charge is based on if they participate or not.
So has anyone handled anything like this before? And do you think it should be one opportunity or two?
