    Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to CRMUG but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction...

    My company just upgraded to on premise CRM 2016 (from on premise CRM 2011). However, in an effort to make the change as painless as possible for our staff, we minimized the changes made to the old CRM forms and haven't enabled features such as the service hub, etc. Our CRM has highly customized and we use it to manage our customer service and operations in a call center environment and we'd like to connect with other companies/users that use CRM in a similar fashion.

    My goal is to be able to approach our IT group with clear direction on what CRM changes we want made in the short-term so we can start optimizing our customer service operations (especially those that can be implemented with minimal effort!)

    In a perfect world, I would love to see CRM 2016 in a real-world customer service environment to learn about their best practices when utilizing its built-in functionality. W're also particularly keen on implementing a customer analytics framework in order to identify potentially at-risk customers by tracking and analyzing changes in behavior (increase/decrease in frequency of contact, changes in revenue generating units, number of program enrollments, etc).

    Does anyone know of (or is) a great resource or can make a recommendation on where I should start? I know there is a ton of information on CRMUG but I'm really trying to focus my efforts and would appreciate any guidance!

    For some reason I did not see your post in my email.  If others have not received the post as well that may be why you have not received any responses.

    I would start by asking this question to the entire CRMUG community, not just the Boston Chapter.  You are more likely to find someone doing something similar to your what you company does that way.  I would also find CRM communities on Facebook.  As I view posts from FB people are willing to provide answers there as well.

    Also, I think attending the upcoming Boston Chapter meeting is a very good way to exchange knowledge.  We will hopefully be having another Developer's Meeting in May as well, most likely in Rhode island, which is a shorter drive from Hartford, than Boston is.

    Hopefully, you have already implemented some of the nicer new features of CRM like the Global Search.  We have not yet turned on Turbo Forms because we are finding that our JavaScript needs to be updated substantially first.  Some of the other changes are built in like a much better export/import experience once you get used to it and a larger download size of 50,000 records.
