Please register to attend our next meeting here. If you do, you will get lunch.

Please bring a CRM tip you like or often use to share with everyone, even if it's just a little thing. Bring as many as you like.. And also bring a question that has been nagging you! Ok, you can bring as many as you like too.

I'm definitely looking forward to going to this one! I've been actually doing admin stuff the last several months.

A couple of areas I can think about providing value, depending on what interests you guys:
    • I migrated to UI, seemed easy, but had some serious accessibility issues. Found the reason for one, the other is being investigated by MSFT (bug?)
    • In the process, found the URL that forces the classic view, and all errors disappear!
    • We don't have any significant custom entities, I'm thinking it *might* be needed soon, but I feel that might create more issues that I don't have time to resolve, since custom entities usually aren't well taken care of by OOB changes
    • I've been creating training videos with quizzes through Stream, that will be our 'Dynamics Certification' program that everyone must go through
    • I use a low-key technique for finding qualified opportunities and won opps each quarter to run commission for my sales team. I'm wondering if anyone else has set up the same and what theirs looks like

Brooke, Awesome! I assume you mean UCI, which is definitely a timely topic for all of us online. Custom entities are not a problem. That's what the application is for! We can talk about it. Yes, show us Stream. We'll ask of all about calculating commissions.

I'm going to talk about the CRM to Teams integration. I'll try to summarize what I have learned about the Power platform.I just opted-in to use InsideView.

Please let me know what things ya'll are working on that you would like to share so I can put together some semblance of an agenda.

Yup, UCI. I've had about 3 more Microsoft tickets since posting, and while they won't say anything, I'm pretty certain they were issues related to UCI and powerapps.

But I think it's worth it, filling out the fields is so much easier now.

It might be too advanced, but I'm curious about PCF controls and what exactly they are. I've been seeing it come up more and more in this UG. Here's a good write-up https://community.dynamics.com/365/sales/b/crmanswers/posts/pcf-gallery-website-launched and examples.

I'm hoping to learn more about it this year and understand if they can be of use to me. I'm sure there will be some sessions at Summit about it.

@Brooke Browne, that link to the PCF Gallery is neat! I hadn't thought about replacing things like the datetime control with an enhanced one or even replacing grids. Thanks for sharing!

To those that joined, we'd talked about sending emails as someone else. As I was playing with some of my workflows, I remembered what the default abilities are.

A workflow triggered upon an event can be sent From the Modified By user, because it is being initiated by that user. Any other standard user chosen will require specified delegate access.

So if a workflow is triggered when a field changes, you can send an email from a workflow/flow as that user (Modified By).
