We will be having our next meeting on August 14th from 10am - 2pm.

The imitable Geoff Ables will be in town to talk to us about Microsoft Teams and its integration to D365. Geoff's specialty is fixing failed crm implementations. He's one of the most down to earth folks in the business. I don't endorse lightly, so believe me when I tell you, you don't want to miss this one.

Audrey Vavrosky from mcaConnect will give us some tips on a few advanced configuration items that most of us probably don't focus on too much.

We'll have our typical open discussion where you can ask or tell about anything crm that's on your mind.

The registration button for the meeting was broken and it just got fixed. Please register so we can provide you with lunch!

Ok folks, please register to come to the meeting. This way your food will be assured! Did I mention that Geoff Ables will be here to speak?! If you want real answers to your hardest questions, especially about user adoption, Geoff is the guy. His specialty is taking over failed crm implementations and making them successful. How would you like THAT job?!

When you setup a duplicate detection rule, do you know what the 'Ignore Blank Values' checkbox does? Do you have a retention policy for Task Activities? When you choose a Multi-Select Option Set, how do the different values in Field Types behave?

All these answers and more will be provided by Audrey Vavrosky of MCA Connect at our meeting next Wednesday when she'll discuss best practices from some obscure configurations, customizations and extensions.

We will also have an open forum discussion where you will get a chance to ask any question you have about the meaning of life...ok, maybe not, but definitely about CRM. Register here! No, don't read further. Go back to the link and click it!

    Hi CRMUG Texas

In regards to the build in Duplicate detection app, maybe its worth to take a look to alternative options as the build in capability has many gaps and limitations.

We have developed a solution (the trial version has unlimited functionality) which basically help organization to define bespoke rules to detect any duplicate data in any entity. Once the duplicates are detected there are build in auto (bulk) merge capabilities for you to define the master record. This functionality alone is a huge time saver. The best part of the app is that you can prevent users from creating new duplicates and thus be better in control of your data going forward.

Take a look at www.duplicate-detection.com and get a free trial which in most cases can take you very far without the need of purchasing a full version.

To set up on the webpage you will find a user guide and also helpful small videos to get you started.

The app is certified by Microsoft and can also be downloaded from AppSource.

Enjoy your event and let me know if you have any questions.

Med venlig hilsen / Best Regards
