Not yet but let's plan it!

The hardest part of planning is which communication medium to use. The choices I can think of are:

    • CRMUG community discussion (like this one). Benefit: Will reach everyone. Risks: If preferences not set, not all get an immediate email when a post is made.
    • Summit mobile app. Benefit: Easier to find those attending. Risks: Not all make themselves public in app. Not all used to receiving messages in app.
    • SMS: Benefit: Easier to reach everyone. Risks: Must have everyone's contact info.
    • WhatsApp: Benefits: Easier to manage a group than SMS. Risks: May be a new app for some.

My inclination is to use WhatsApp first and the Summit app next. Ya'll chime in your opinion.

Once we have an agreed upon communication system it'll be easier to plan events. So the first lunch day we can communicate just in time to pick a designated lunch table to meet at every day.

The benefit of using WhatsApp is you post one message and it goes to the whole group. And you can leave the group at your discretion unlike text message groups. In the Summit app you have to post a message to each individual, I don't think there is the ability to create a group.

Send me your mobile number if you are interested in joining the Houston CRMUG WhatsApp group. I'll name it generically enough to continue using it after Summit to improve UG communications anyway.

I can reach you through the Summit app if you want to use that too while at the conference.

I am interested in Universal Horror Nights and would be a party of two.  Would it be a bus taking us in and out?

    Hey guys,
    Catching up on the thread:

LUNCH = Would love to have lunch with the Houston folks!

WHAT'S APP = Andres and I are both What's App users and welcome to the opportunity to use the group text for messaging.  We will also use the Summit app to keep up with Summit things.
Information to add us to the What's App group chat:
    • Andres phone #: (909) 727-0191

    • Alisa phone #: (832) 483-3291

UNIVERSAL = Not knowing how many people are interested in Universal Horror Nights we were going to Uber to the park.  I am sure we can meet somewhere and share rides to the park.  This way, folks can leave on their own schedule.  Just a thought!

FYI...Andres and I are staying at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

    Getting Excited!
    Alisa (Lisa)

Brooke, With all the trouble we are having logging into the Dynamics Communities app you should consider adding WhatsApp.
