    Hi,

I'm having issues with our database capacity and it's always over rapidly. I have requested our vendors to increase the capacity to 150GB but looks like there is a cap with Microsoft on this they have to set up a whole new one for us.

I want to check and see if any of you have best practices or ways I can free up some of this space.
I have tried everything in this article and it is of not much help. - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/free-storage-space#reduce-database-storage

    Please advise.

    A couple things:

    1. It looks like you have a custom ISV that is taking up a lot of storage.  I would reach out directly to them and see what is safe to delete or at least not reside in your Dynamics database. I don't recognize the cdi_ prefix offhand.
    2. You appear to have a massive amount of activities.  Activities are almost never directly useful once they're completed, so maybe either purge activities over a year old, or move them to a SQL Azure database for historical reporting.

For us it's emails with large attachments that take up a lot of space. I periodically run this advanced find and delete everything that I find.

You also have the ability to set up SharePoint as the storage location for the attachments that can be accessed through the D365 email.

I use attachment management app to have them stored in Azure, so that isn't the issue for me. It's all the click dimensions data like someone below mentioned.

    Thank you.

    The cdi_ prefix is ClickDimensions.

I would say older ClickDimensions PageViews and Visits could be bulk deleted. That should free up a lot of space in your org.

I agree with Andy - if you have anonymous visitor tracking set up, it's taking up TONS of space. I have a bulk delete for lots of random clickdimensions data that is useless after 6 months or so. Anonymous pagveviews, IPs, etc. that aren't associated with a lead yet.

    Hi Geethika.
You might want to read this to understand the data storage from ClickDimensions?
Perhaps you should consider only to track relevant pages on your website? (Depending on your data driven marketing strategy?)
