Workflow Help - Time Consideration

    I have a workflow that sends an email to customers when a Case is closed inviting them to take part in a Voice of Customer survey. Occasionally we close an old Case that triggers this email, which causes confusion for the customer. I need to add a check condition to the workflow that only allows it to trigger if the elapsed time between the Created On date is in the last 14 days. Can someone tell me if this Check Condition will accomplish this, or if I need to do something different:

    Case --> Modified On --> Is Less Than or Equal To --> Case-{14 Days After Created On}

    Thanks!

    Nancy,
    That should resolve your issue. I don't think you need anything extra.

    Thanks, @Andrew Butenko. It's always nice to have someone confirm the logic!

    Is there a way to write this to compare the Created On date for the Case to today's date? I thought we had this fixed, but customer service was cleaning up some inactive cases today and it started triggering VOC emails, even though the Case was closed more than 14 days after it was created.

    You can use the process execution time in a workflow to compare a date against the executing time of the workflow - could be of use?  This is effectively today's date, or 'now'.

    That's what I was looking for. I've created the Check Condition as follows:
    Case:Created On <= [14 Days Before Process-Execution Time]

    Thank you, @Andrew Bibby
