Failed system job relating to storage size statistics

This job seems to be failing every hour and I am not sure why.  Also, we have been deleting data from our sandbox and prod instances (to manage storage) and the storage space shown in the Power Platform Admin center has not changed to reflect the data we have removed - I assume this is related to this failing system job.  Any ideas?  thanks for your help!  Laura

I'm seeing the same thing.  It looks like it started failing 12/14/2018 at 11:35 pm.  I don't see it running, succeeded or failed, prior to that.  I'm online, so I'm guessing they pushed out an update on 12/14.

One of my customers started having issues with disk space and jobs failing. Seems there is a two minute timeout on workflows that I have not encountered before.

In this process their data grew from 5 gig to 25 gig. I found the system jobs was full of exception data. I kick off a bulk delete of system jobs that had errored and got back to 5gig of disk space.

    Not sure if that helps

We aren't having the failed system job issue but we have had issues in the past trying to delete data as a way to free up storage space.  A couple years ago we started an automated process for removing old data to keep our storage size down but the size stayed the same and sometimes even grew slightly.  When we contacted Microsoft they advised us that deleting records creates an audit record of that deletion that is approx. equal to and sometimes greater than the size of the record itself so the delete was a wash.  They did advise that after 1 year that audit record is automatically deleted so we'd see the results we were looking for one year after we deleted the record.  I'm not sure if this is what's happening to yours but it was something that caught us off guard so hopefully it helps!
