Mobile Offline for V9?

Since the upgrade to V9, I seem to no longer have the Business Setting subarea for Mobile Offline. I never needed it before, and now I need to enable a custom entity for offline access. Am I missing something? All the Microsoft docs I've come across that refer to this setting still seem to be for V8.X. (I do meet the user license criteria to have this, from what I've read). When I click into the Dynamics 365 Mobile-Custom App that was created upon upgrade, it has a dropdown for Mobile Offline Profiles, but I cannot see a place to configure those profiles, and adding those Mobile Offline profiles to my new focused app is not an option.

My goal is to have a focused app that only has two custom entities and is enabled for offline usage so it can be used out of the country, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Here are the steps to add the missing navigation back to your environment:

You enable mobile offline synchronization in Settings-->Administration. It tells you that offline provisioning was successful. However, when you navigate to settings, you don't see the link. Using the XRM toolbox (or other Sitemap editor of your choice), add the following subarea to

    Hello Audrey,

please let us know whether you are able to successfull implement a mobile offline solution. Refering to this article in MS Doc's the offline capabilities are currently not availeble (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/mobile-app/v8/go-mobile/work-offline).

Looks like that tile is still in my site map on the XRM toolbox, but it is not visible on my live site map. I've heard (from other here at Summit) that mobile offline is not currently on the road map for MSOFT, so I wonder if not having it in V9 is by design. I think I'll be looking into a third party solution...

    Hello Audrey,

more than one year ago we expected that Microsoft will deliver all needed offline functionality so we decided to build our solution only on Microsoft functionality. When we recognized that Microsoft will not deliver offline functionality in foresseble future we desiced to build the mobile offline functionality with RESCO. In RESCO we found a lot of functionality to present users information with less effort than in the CRM Client.

However, you mentioned that your are talking about only 2 entities. For very simple use cases with only a very few data on the device you might also use PowerApps.

    Hello,

If you are in your Dynamics 365- custom app, you might not find the MOBILE OFFLINE under SETTINGS. I went under the SALES apps and I found MOBILE OFFLINE there. As well as the Sales AI!!!!
