    Hello,
Is it possible, or is there a connector tool out there to allow attachments in D365 to be stored in an On-Premise server?    I know we can go to Azure Blob or Sharepoint, but what if we wanted to send them to On-Premise server which is as large as we wish.   Microsoft doesn't like that?
    Hope someone knows. thank you!

    Hey Tim,
Are you thinking like just a local file server, or what?  You could deploy SharePoint on-prem and use that as your SharePoint location for files.  If you wanted a file server sort of solution, I know back in the day we've built those custom but you likely will run into lots of security errors trying to get from D365 Online to an on-prem file server, and it may not even be possible as a direct connection.  I guess your solution likely depends on what you envision as the storage mechanism on that on-prem server.

    Hi,

Yes, you can. you can still use the out of the box Document Management settings in Dynamics 365 to connect with it.

To automate some processes, you can also use Power Automate as long as you have the SharePoint gateway connector on it.

Let me know if you have more questions.

    Thanks,
    Cristall
