Model Driven Apps missing from list on iPhone

    Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue where a user logs into the iPhone app (D365 online) and they receive a message that there are no apps in the view or they only see the solution health hub app.  So far I have only seen this with iPhone users who have not used the iPhone app regularly.  I have verified that they have the necessary permissions and they are able to access the app from a web browser.  I should also mention that we use Okta for SSO.

For now, the workaround has been to sign out of the iPhone app and then use the option to sign in using a URL and that get's them in.

    Thanks,
    Jill

Thanks, Hugh!  Was it the signing out and signing back in that worked for you?  I looked through the links in the other response in that post but none of those things were applicable.  I think I had one of the users try signing out and back in, but I can't be certain he did it.  I also had a couple users try deleting the app and reinstalling it, which I think would achieve the same result as singing out and back in, but that didn't work.

    Jill,

This is the article I meant to send to you.  It is how to verify that the roles are set in the Unified interface

thanks for the clarification, but the message isn't that there are no apps for the role - its that there are no apps in the view.  The users can access the apps from a web browser or iPad, and they can access it from the iPhone by using the URL instead of the app selector.

I've just opened a ticket with Microsoft to see what they have to say.

I worked with Microsoft on this issue and it turns out they had heard of the  issue a few weeks ago and found some faulty code int he iPhone app.  They had released a fix for that, but the phone app was still needing a refresh which required the user to sign out and back in again.  As of late last week, they found a way to force the app to refresh.  I have not had a recent case of the issue so I haven't been able to confirm it no longer exists but am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't see it again!
