Has anyone successfully implemented #Nonprofit Accelerator for #CustomerEngagement?

    Hi everyone,

I'm exploring the option of implementing The Dynamics 365 Nonprofit Accelerator at a charity that engages donors in monthly subscriptions to help pay for children's education. Our goal is to improve #CustomerEngagement. Has anyone here implemented The Dynamics 365 Nonprofit Accelerator in a similar context? What was your experience? What advice would you give someone considering this option?

    Hi Paskwa,

We have had several companies look at the Nonprofit Accelerator but not had anyone move forward with it, mostly because needs were different and so other avenues within Dynamics/Power Platform were selected. The best way to think of the Nonprofit Accelerator is as a pre-built template such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service that get you in the right direction but need to be tweaked for it to fit with your specific business needs. It has the framework of what is generally needed for Fundraising, Constituent Management, Volunteer Management, etc. and is a good base if that is what you are looking to do.

I would suggest you jump into a Test Drive to see how the general framework feels and if that is a good starting point for you.

Thank you Scott. Our requirements are also a little "peculiar" because we're a child sponsorship organization. We need a way to track the children and send updates to donors - so we'll definitely need to tweak any solution we go with.

    Hi Paskwa -
Our organization helped develop the nonprofit accelerator with Microsoft and have successfully implemented it.  As stated previously this helps organizations get 50-99% of the way to an end state depending on the requirements.  We have built several 'add-ons' to the accelerator helping out clients get across the finish line.

Thanks Kevin. I would love to learn about the implementations your organization has helped implement. Our most important business need that I anticipate will require customization is donation and sponsorship management.

Paskwa - I sent you a message within this portal but happy to connect at kscully@wipfli.com.  Would love to show you what we've done already with some organizations leveraging the NP Accelerator. - Thanks!
